Christopher is a lawyer with over 24 years of experience spanning roles in law firms and large corporations. He is a 1994 batch pass out from the National Law School of India, University, Bangalore and has in addition to other job roles undertaken in the past, served as Associate General Counsel at Dell and Director Legal at CRISIL before taking up this role. He has played varied inhouse counsel and practice roles during the last 24 years.
Prior to joining Pravag Law, he has been advising clients on Labour and Employment, Environmental and Corporate Law matters. He also had a practice stint with Luthra & Luthra where he was involved in the due diligence and M & A practice. He has been involved in negotiating and drafting multi-million dollar Information Technology Outsourcing contracts while at Patni Computers and Dell. He has also front headed large real estate deals for corporate houses. He is now heading the corporate law practice at Pravag Law.
Anish is a lawyer with over 9 years of experience in litigation in tax and civil matters. He is practicing in the Madras High Court and Arbitration Tribunals in this region. He has also appeared before tax tribunals and Debt Recovery Tribunals in different parts of India extensively. He is an old hand at this firm having worked closely with our clients for the last 9 years. He practiced under the tutelage of his Lordship C Saravanan J, prior to his elevation to the bench of the Madras High Court. He has also been handling trademark disputes of the firm at the Madras High Court.
Mani an expert in indirect taxation, comes with a rich experience of over 35 years spread across well-known companies like MRF Ltd., TVS Brakes India Ltd. and Reliance Industries Ltd.
During his illustrious career, he has had the honour and responsibility of handling many critical projects including the awareness and implementation plan of GST in Reliance Industries Ltd, for which his exceptional work was specially recognised and awarded by the organisation.
Post his retirement from the corporate world, he has been providing consultation to various business houses and helping them in matters related to indirect taxation, especially since the roll out of the largest tax reform in our country - the GST.
He has also written various articles in leading Journals and provided valuable suggestions for transparent and effective compliance of Indirect Tax laws.
Shankar, has also, along with Anish been involved in all our client matters. A product of the Law School of Excellence, Chennai, he has close to five years of court practice experience. He has been working with our clients for more than four years now and is involved in tax litigation in addition to the intellectual property, civil and criminal law practice of the firm. He also appears before the National Company Law Tribunal from time to time.
